The Kingston Black apple has had a legendary status since the early 1900's when it was identified as having the most perfectly balanced juice for Cider. Kingston Black is notoriously difficult to grow and produces a light crop of fruit. The apples themselves are a distinctive dark red to almost black at times. This Cider is a still medium, with a refreshing crispness. The initial aroma is faintly reminiscent of Cider Brandy. It has a satisfyingly long, dry aftertaste.
